Snowflake Parade Nov. 21 in Cambridge
Wednesday, 18 November 2009

Dozens of units beautifully lit with a holiday theme will make up this year’s Snowflake Parade on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m., using the same new route as last year.

The parade will step off at 2nd Avenue SW and Fern Street, just east of the Cambridge Park and make its way into downtown Cambridge, turning south on Main Street and finishing as in years past at 5th Avenue behind First Baptist Church. No parking will be allowed in the church parking lot, as that is where units will tear down.

More than 40 out-of-town festivals will be represented in the parade, including the Minneapolis Aquatennial and St. Paul Winter Carnival; along with many local businesses and organizations.

The community chili feed begins at 4 p.m. at the Cambridge Legion and continues after the parade for just $3 a bowl, complete with delicious French bread from Herman’s Bakery. Beat the crowd and enjoy your meal before the parade.
