dean-henrikson.jpgDean A. Henrikson, 80, of East Bethel passed away peacefully at home Aug. 30, 2010.  Dean Allen Henrikson was born June 24, 1930 in Bethel Township, Minnesota, where he lived his 80 years, to August and Clara (Howe) Henrikson (one of the original homesteaders of East Bethel).

obit_yvonnelind.jpgYvonne Nerissa (Weiss) Lind, 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 22, 2010, our loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Donald and her parents Herbert and Esther Weiss.
Yvonne was born May 30, 1932 in Great Bend, N.D. She graduated from Wahpeton High School and went on to attend Fairview School of Nursing in Minneapolis, receiving her registered nurse degree.

obit_huongduong.jpgHuong Thi Duong, 50, of Cambridge and Hue, Vietnam passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at her son’s home surrounded by family.

She was born on July 1, 1960 in Hue, Vietnam to Sanh Phuc Duong and Hoang Oanh Thi Kim. Huong grew up in Hue and her parents passed away when she was 9 years-old and she lived with other families while in Vietnam.

Mark Robert Anderson, 40, of Braham, passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2010.
Mark is the son of Paul Anderson and Kathi Peppers, and was born on May 18, 1970, at the Braham Hospital. Mark grew up in Braham before moving to Oregon and later Alaska.

He was united in marriage to Lora Hermanson on Aug. 13, 2005 at Stanchfield Baptist Church. They made their home in the Braham area ever since. On Feb. 28, 2008 their daughter Emma Rose-Ann was born. Emma was the pride and joy of her father.

Kevin H. Colline, 52, of St. Cloud, died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the Elim Home in Princeton, Minn. He was born Jan. 4, 1958.
Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 3, at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Princeton. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Pastor Dan Osborn will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Sanford Cemetery.
Kevin is survived by his children; Jamie Colline, Carie Colline; Ashley Colline; grandson Paxton Burkhart; father and step-mother Harvey and Mary Colline; Mother and step-father Phyllis and Delane Jones; sister, Leslie Colline; niece Jessie Shore; great nephew Dylan Shore and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Betty Friedrichsen, 69, of Stacy died Aug. 22, 2010 at the Cambridge Medical Center.

Betty JoAnn Friedrichsen was born Nov. 13, 1940 at Cass Lake to Wallace and Betty Mason. She was raised on a potato farm at Graceton and graduated from Williams High School. Betty then attended Glamour Beauty School in northeast Minneapolis.

obit_claytonlindgren.jpgClayton Lindgren, 87, of Lindstrom died Aug. 20, 2010 at his home. Clayton Wayne Lindgren was born Oct. 3, 1922 in Anoka to Werner and Elsie Lindgren. He was raised in rural Isanti and graduated from Cambridge High School, Class of 1942. On Aug. 16, 1942 he married Marjorie Thunstrom and they made their home in Cambridge. Two years later they moved to Sleepy Eye before moving back to Cambridge four years later.

obit_leodaproza.jpgLeo Daproza, 100, of Braham, passed away on Aug. 22, 2010 at GracePointe Crossing Gables West in Cambridge. 
Leo Daproza was born Jan. 10, 1910 in Santa Maria Ilocos Sur, on the island of Luzon in the Philippine Islands. He came to the states when he was 17 years, resided in California where he first bussed tables and then worked as a chauffeur for Walter Ferris (author of the book “Heidi”), and chauffeured Joan Crawford around Hollywood. He moved to Chicago after he chauffeured a client from California to Chicago.  While living in Chicago he worked for the U.S. Government as a paper cutter and retired early because of damage done to his eyes due to glaucoma.

obit_jurgenson.jpgIrene M. Jorgenson, 96, former Ellendale and Albert Lea resident, died on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010 at her daughter’s home in Minneapolis. Irene was born on July 25, 1914, in Emmons, Minn., the daughter of Cornelius and Matilda “Tillie” (Olson) Qualey. She attended school in Nevis, Minnesota and later graduated from Albert Lea High School. After high school she began working at Wilson and Co. and became a very integral part of the Teamsters Union. She was honored with the title of Miss Albert Lea which allowed her to travel all around the United States.

Yvonne N. Lind, 78, of Cambridge passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at The Villages of North Branch. She is survived by her children Michelle (Tom) Spiczka, Mike (Lori) Lind, Cynthia (Russell) Olson, Todd (Angela) Lind, Kevin (Sherry) Lind, nine grandchildren, two sisters. obit_joannenoreen.jpgJoanne Helen Noreen, 71, passed away at the home of Kristina “Tina” and Skip Ruis and Nathanael and Max Putbrese, her daughter, son-in-law and grandsons, on July 13, 2010 in Stanchfield, Minn. with her daughter by her side.

Joanne Simon was born in Grand Forks, N.D. on Nov. 14, 1938 of Irish and German decent to Joseph and Helen (Duggan) Simon. She grew up in Thompson, N.D., graduating High School in 1956 as Valedictorian. She moved to California where she attended Fullerton College, returned and graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in Business Administration with all her electives in Secondary Education. She was a Student Teacher in Economics and Distributive Education at Grand Forks Central High School in 1964.
 
Christopher Lee Dewey Print E-mail
obit_dewey.jpgChristopher Lee Dewey was born on Feb.  9, 1983 at the Cambridge Hospital. He was injured in the line of duty on Feb. 18, 2009, and died peacefully from complications of those injuries at home on Aug. 9, 2010. Chris was the oldest of five brothers, whom they looked up to as their hero, as well as two step-sisters. He had a superb educational career attending Cambridge-Isanti High School, where football became his favorite sport. He assisted in winning the Minnesota State Football Championship in class 4A during his senior year in high school.
