My husband Red and I have owned and operated a retail business for 40+ years and have enjoyed everyday. Our two daughters grew up here and after leaving for the college years have returned to make Cambridge their home once again.

The government should provide safe streets and keep them in good repair. The government should ensure safe drinking water and reliable disposal of waste. The government should take care of public land such as parks, sidewalks, and trails.

Cheryl and I have lived in the Goldenwood area of Cambridge for 15+ years. She is the office manager at First Baptist Church in Cambridge, and I am a professional Santa Claus. I have worked in Minnesota, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Reminder on Filing Statements Print E-mail

The Isanti County News will publish one free filing statement and photo for each of the candidates running for Cambridge and Braham city councils, with the condition the statement is 350 words or less, and is subject to editing by the newspaper. Filing statements must be received by Friday, Sept. 3, at 4 p.m. for final publication in the newspaper’s Sept. 8 edition. Filing statements received after Sept. 3 will not be published unless as a paid advertisement.

Braham graduate makes waves on political scene Print E-mail
A 1999 Braham Area High School graduate had an intricate role during Matt Entenza’s campaign for governor. Even though Entenza has conceded his campaign, Tim Nelson enjoyed his experience working as a policy associate for the Entenza campaign.
