Long Lake Spaghetti Dinner
Friday, Oct. 6: All are invited to a Spaghetti Dinner from 4-7 p.m. at Long Lake Lutheran Church, 3921 277th Ave. NW, Isanti (Highway 47 and 277th Avenue). All You Can Eat Spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, beverage and dessert. Adults tickets, $6; 6-12 years, $3. Under 6 are free.

Princess Prom
Friday, Oct. 6: Any-aged girl is welcome to take the arm of her favorite adult male escort and dance the night away at the first Princess Prom. Cost is $40/couple at the door ($5 for each additional girl). Registration begins at 6 p.m. with a Grand March at 6:15 p.m., and Party Patrol DJ playing dance music until 8 p.m. at Cambridge Middle School and presented by the Cambridge Ambassador Program. 10th Annual Box City
Saturday, Oct. 7: New Pathways is hosting its 10th annual Box City Homeless Challenge at the Isanti County Fairgrounds in Cambridge. Everyone is welcome to participate, anyone under the age of 18 will need an adult chaperon. Participants are asked to raise $75 each to spend the night homeless. Peace Walk in Cambridge
Saturday, Oct. 7: The bi-monthly peace walk in Cambridge will take place at 9 a.m. The group meets in the parking lot at Highway 95 and Birch Street, and the walk takes about half-hour. They try to keep their messages positive, supporting equal rights and justice for all, protection of our environment, and an end to violence. Anyone is welcome. They walk on the first and third Saturdays every month, so they will also meet on Oct. 21.

Bluejacket 5K/1 Mile
Saturday Oct. 7: Isanti Intermediate School/School For All Seasons, located at 101 Ninth Ave. NE., Isanti, is hosting a 5K and 1 Mile run beginning at 9 a.m. Cost for the 5K is $20, 1 Mile is $10 and family max of $45.

Free Community Shredding Event
Saturday, Oct. 7: Century 21 Moline Realty will host a free community shredding event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 202 Main St. S., Cambridge. Cider and cookies will be served while you wait, and the first 50 people to bring a non-perishable food item for the food shelf will receive a free pumpkin.

Augsburg Centennial Singers
Sunday, Oct. 8: All are invited to hear the Augsburg Centennial Singers directed by Paul Christensen beginning at 3 p.m. at the Braham Event Center, 655 Eighth St. SW., Braham. The event is sponsored by the Braham Event Center. Free will offerings accepted.

Christ the King Knights of Columbus Bingo
Sunday, Oct. 8: The Christ the King Knights of Columbus, Council No. 12813 is sponsoring Cash Bingo at 2 p.m. at the Parish Hall. Pizza, snacks and beverages will be served, and free will donations are appreciated. All proceeds will go to help the council fund community and parish projects.

Free Lunch for Seniors
Thursday, Oct. 19: Christ Lutheran Church (WELS) will hold a free lunch for seniors age 62 and older. The lunch will be served at noon and will include two varieties of soup, sandwiches, desserts and coffee. There will also be time for socializing.
