The high school sports season has officially ended. On June 13 and 14, three Braham Bombers made the trip to Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker for the 1A State Tournament.
While none of the Bombers saw the podium, they still had an excellent day on the course.
Representing Braham for the girls was sophomore Emma Downing. Downing shot 100 on the first day, and followed that up with an even round two. Downing shot a 96 on June 14, which put her at 196 for the tournament. She placed 48th out of 84 participants.
The boys had two golfers in the tournament, senior Hunter Richmond and junior Alex Kurvers.
Kurvers just missed out on the top 10 after shooting 81 and 82 for a combined 163. He finished in a tie for 13th overall.
Richmond ended his Bomber career tied for 50 out of 88 golfers, with an 83 and 93, good for 176.
