On Tuesday, May 23, and Friday, May 26, students from Cambridge Middle School had the opportunity to learn about flying drone aircraft in their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) class called Project Lead the Way.
Isanti County Sheriff Chris Caulk brought his drone into the class and showed them the aircraft and the control mechanism used to control the drone.

Caulk also talked about some of the laws that govern the flying of drones in Minnesota.
Caulk then took the students outside and demonstrated the flying of the drone and taking video of the students and the school on the video camera attached to the drone.

Isanti County Sheriff Chris Caulk gets the drone ready to demonstrate to the students.
