Be adventurous this summer and try some new watersports in the warm, safe Cambridge-Isanti High School pool.
On Monday, June 12, at 7:30 p.m., the pool will have various types of recreational kayaks and stand-up paddleboards for you to try out and learn some new paddling skills.
In cooperation with Outdoor Edge in Cambridge, Cambridge-Isanti Community Education is offering this beginner course of instruction and practice with instructor K.C. Bohn and Water Safety Instructor Dan W. Johnson. The cost of the class is $16, and find more information in the Spring Community Education booklet, call the office at 763-689-6189 or stop in the Cambridge downtown Outdoor Edge store. You can also visit online www.c-ischools.org and click on Community Education.
Students from seventh-grade to adults should have reasonable swimming skills and all safety equipment will be provided and discussed that evening. Spectators are welcome in the pool balcony.
