The section 7AAAA playoffs for the Cambridge-Isanti softball team has ended. The sixth-seeded Bluejackets traveled to Forest Lake on May 25 for the first-round of action.

The game started off on a bad note for the girls, as the first three batters of the game went down swinging.

The Rangers jumped out in front, scoring early with a long first inning rally.

The Bluejackets could not find any luck at the plate, and the game was called after five innings. C-I was sent home with a 12-0 loss.

The girls finished their season with an overall record of 6-12, including 2-6 in the Mississippi 8 Red Conference.

The team will be back with more experience next season, as they will only be graduating four seniors; pitcher Kylee Gordon, outfielder Tressa Johnson, second-basemen Adriana Abraham and first-basemen Emma Mindrum.
