Sisters Cities Commission seeks members

The Cambridge City Council is seeking six to eight individuals to serve on the new Sister Cities Commission. Individuals must be a city of Cambridge resident or Cambridge business owner. Appointments will be made for either one, two and three year appointments.

The Sister Cities Commission is an advisory board to the City Council and is charged with promoting long-lasting, mutual goodwill and understanding between the city of Cambridge and its sister cities of Beli Manastir, Croatia; Ratvik, Sweden; and Yuasa, Japan.

Specifically, the Commission is to promote cultural, economic and education exchange as well as conduct fundraising activities to support the exchange.

The Commission will conduct meetings as needed to serve its purpose. For information on residency or questions about serving on the Sister Cities Commission, contact Caroline Moe, Director of Finance, at 763-552-3202.
