Ruby’s Pantry Food Distribution
Saturday, April 15: Ruby’s Pantry Food Distribution will be at New Hope Community Church-Isanti Campus (formerly Elim Baptist), 114 Dahlin Ave., Isanti, from 9-10:30 a.m. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. Everyone who wants to save on grocery expenses is welcome. In return for a $20 donation, participants receive an abundance of grocery items. Bring boxes or baskets to carry home the food. There are no income or residency requirements. Peace Walk in Cambridge
Saturday, April 15: The bi-monthly peace walk in Cambridge will take place at 9 a.m. The group meets in the parking lot at Highway 95 and Birch Street, and the walk takes about half-hour. They try to keep their messages positive, supporting equal rights and justice for all, protection of our environment, and an end to violence. Anyone is welcome to join them. They walk on the first and third Saturdays every month, so they will also meet May 6 and May 20.
Easter Eggstravaganza at Harvest Christian
Saturday, April 15: Harvest Christian Center presents The Easter Eggstravaganza from 10-11:30 a.m. at the church, 601 Heritage Blvd NE, Isanti. There will be a movie, popcorn, egg hunt, candy and more.
New Plant Fashion Show at Green Barn
Saturday, April 15: The “New Plant Fashion Show” will be held at the Green Barn Garden Center in Isanti from 10-11:15 a.m. Learn about new plants for 2017 as plant models show what is new on their greenhouse runway. Monday, April 17: The Outreach Librarian from the East Central Regional Library will be at the Braham Event Center from 12:30-4:30 p.m. and every Monday unless it is a holiday. Come and check out all the types of materials that are available. Also, you can request items you want brought to this location.

Monday, April 17: The Alcohol Chemical Treatment Series of Deliverance will meet from 7-8 p.m. every Monday at The Journey New Life Church, 145 Second Ave. SE, Cambridge. Cambridge Surplus Food Distribution
Tuesday, April 18: Cambridge Surplus Food Distribution will distribute food at the Isanti County Fairgrounds in Cambridge from 2-5 p.m. (or until food runs out). Do not come to the fairgrounds or wait in streets around the grounds until 1 p.m. Lining up on streets outside of the fairgrounds blocks traffic and can be very dangerous. If you have not registered yet, bring your picture ID or two utility bills in your name and with your current address.
Gerdin Cemetery Spring Meeting

The Tom Coleman Story Film Premiere
Saturday, April 22: The Tom Coleman Story film premiere will be held at 3 p.m. at the Hardy Performing Arts Center at Cambridge-Isanti High School. Doors open at 2 p.m. Online ticket pre-sale ($11 per ticket) ends April 15. Tickets at the door are $15. The film, produced by Stefan Quinth of Camera Q, tells the story of Swedish-American Dr. Tom Coleman and his wife Elaine, from Cambridge, who served at the Ginde Beret Leprosarium and other places in Africa between 1956 and 2004. Annual Salad Buffet Luncheon
Wednesday, April 26: Common Ground: A United Methodist Community, 404 Cypress St. N., Cambridge, will host its 38th annual Salad Buffet Luncheon, which finances their camp scholarships and out reach ministries, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $7 in advance or $8 at the door. Children three and younger are free. Advance tickets available at the Common Ground office Monday-Friday through April 25 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. You can come in or call them at 763-689-2071. Tickets are also available at Anchor Travel on Main Street from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
