CIHS welders place at Skills USA

Cambridge-Isanti High School welding students had another excellent year at the 2017 Skills USA state welding competition.

In the individual welding competition, senior Jacob Kilpatrick won the Gold medal and Junior Zack Kruse won Silver.

In the welding sculpture division, junior Tristan Klontz won silver and senior Dominic Loneman won bronze.

Jacob Kilpatrick will be invited to represent Minnesota at Nationals this summer.

The results for Cambridge welders are as follows:
Individual Welding
First-place: Jacob Kilpatrick.
Second-place: Zack Kruse.

Welding Sculpture
Second-place: Tristan Klontz.
Third-place: Dominic Loneman.
