After the third inning, the girls trailed 6-0 to visiting PACT Charter School. There were in need of a spark to turn things around. That is when the bats came alive.

The girls found their stride and began scoring with ease. In the end, they were able to battle their way back to a 13-10 win in their home opener.

Junior Emily Lindquist helped lead the comeback, by going 4-4 at the plate, including the game winning three-run home run.

Head coach Becky Swanson was thrilled with how her teamed preformed, and commended them for their tough play.
“Girls battled back and never quit, winning our home opener,” she said.

The girls’ next game will be back at Braham against Spectrum High School on April 7 at 4:30 p.m.
