On April 3, the Bombers opened their new sports facilities with a game against PACT Charter School. It remained a tight game throughout, but in the end, the Bombers fell 6-5.

Sophomore pitcher Jake Johnson did his best to hold off the PACT batters. He managed to rack up a few strikeouts early in the game, and keep his defense off the field.

The Bomber pitchers combined for 11 total strikeouts, but the PACT bats were too powerful.

The Bombers next game will be their first Great River Conference game of the season, when they travel to Isle on April 10. That game will begin at 4:30 p.m.

After that, the boys will play two more games on the road in Grantsburg and Aitkin before returning home on April 18.
