SUMMARY OF ISANTI ORDINANCE NO. 670
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 420
AN ORDINANCE PROMOTING THE HEALTH, SAFETY AND GENERAL WELFARE OF THE CITIZENS OF ISANTI MINNESOTA, AND ADOPTING AN ORDINANCE THAT PROVIDES FOR STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PRACTICES
The following is a summary of the contents of the City of Isanti Stormwater Management Ordinance No. 670 Amending Ordinance No. 420.
Section 1.0 Statutory Authorization. This ordinance is adopted pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapters 103B, 105, 462 and 497.
Section 2.0 Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to control or eliminate storm water pollution along with soil erosion and sedimentation within the City. The ordinance establishes standards and specifications for conservation practices and planning activities, which minimize storm water pollution, soil erosion and sedimentation; and prohibits illicit connections and illegal discharges.
