Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Fries
Friday, March 17: Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Fries will be held every Friday through April 7 from 4:30-7 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 207 County Road 23 NW, Isanti. All you can eat fish, potatoes, vegetables, coleslaw, dessert, coffee and milk will be served. Cost is $10 for adults; $5.50 for ages 6-12; and 5 and under are free. Sponsored by Knights of Columbus Council No. 10238.

Lenten Meal at Sts. Peter and Paul Church
Friday, March 17: A Lenten Meal will be held from 5-7 p.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Braham sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Council No. 10052. The menu includes baked fish, baked potato bar with all the fixings, mac and cheese, vegetable, coleslaw, dessert and beverages. Cost is $9/adults, $5 for kids under 12 and 5 and under are free.

Lawrence Welk Theatre Shows at SAC’s

Ruby’s Pantry Food Distribution
Saturday, March 18: Ruby’s Pantry Food Distribution will be held at New Hope Community Church-Isanti Campus (formerly Elim Baptist), 114 Dahlin Ave., Isanti, from 9-10:30 a.m. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. Everyone who wants to save on grocery expenses is welcome. In return for a $20 donation, participants receive an abundance of grocery items. Bring boxes or baskets to carry home the food. There are no income or residency requirements. Peace Walk in Cambridge
Saturday, March 18: The bi-monthly peace walk in Cambridge will take place at 9 a.m. The group meets in the parking lot at Highway 95 and Birch, and the walk takes about half-hour. They try to keep their messages positive, supporting equal rights and justice for all, protection of our environment, and an end to violence. Anyone is welcome to join them. They walk on the first and third Saturdays every month, so they will also meet on April 1 and April 15.

Isanti VFW St. Patrick’s Day Horseshoe Tourney
Saturday, March 18: The Isanti VFW annual St. Patrick’s Day Horseshoe Tournament will start at noon. There is a $10 entry fee, with a $100 pot to the winner. Call 763-444-9787 for more information or to register.

St. Patrick’s Day Dance
Saturday, March 18: Families are welcome to a St. Patrick’s Day Dance at the Braham Event Center from 5-9 p.m. Music by Ed Pangerl and Friends. Cash bar available. Admission is $8 per person and children under 10 are free. Meals can be purchased for $6 per person.

Alcohol Chemical Treatment Series
Monday, March 20: The Alcohol Chemical Treatment Series of Deliverance will meet from 7-8 p.m. every Monday at The Journey New Life Church, 145 Second Ave. SE, Cambridge. Cambridge Surplus Food Distribution
Tuesday, March 21: Cambridge Surplus Food Distribution will distribute food at the Isanti County Fairgrounds in Cambridge from 2:30-5 p.m. or until food is gone. Registration will not begin before 2:30 p.m. and will close at 5 p.m. It’s a new year so everyone will need two forms of ID for registration; one is a Driver’s License and another is a utility bill that has a current address. No one is allowed before 1 p.m. in the parking lot. If you come in early, you will be put to the end of the line.

Thursday, March 23: The Taste of Isanti County will be held from 5-8 p.m. at the Spirit River Community Center in Isanti, 1321 Heritage Blvd. Tickets are $25 at the door or $20 from a Cambridge-Isanti Rotary Club member or from Century 21 Moline Realty in Cambridge.

Bluejackets Robotics Craft Show and Expo
Saturday, March 25: Bluejackets Robotics Craft Show and Community Expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cambridge-Isanti High School Gym. Admission is free. Over 60 vendors booths of local crafters, artists and local business. Check out the robot demonstrations and drive a robot, raffle drawings for local crafts and goods and chances for tickets to see the Minnesota Wild Hockey, Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Timberwolves. There will be fun and activities for the whole family.

Spaghetti Dinner
Saturday, March 25: Tired of fish? The Christ the King Knights of Columbus Council No. 12813 is sponsoring a Spaghetti Dinner from 4:30-7 p.m. Cost is $9 for adults, $5 for kids 12 and under, kids 5 and under are free and families, $20. All proceeds will go to help their Council fund community and Parish projects.
