Free Lessons for Pickleball
Sept. 3 and Sept. 9: Free lessons for pickleball will be offered by the Isanti County Club at Pioneer Park, 2240 Bridgewater Blvd. South in Cambridge. Pickleball is a new sport in Cambridge which is fun for the old and young.

Thursday, Sept. 3: A Free Community Dinner & Bread Distribution hosted by The Journey New Life Church at 145 Second Ave. SE, Cambridge, will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. For questions, or need a ride, call Pastor David L. First Friday Watermedia Class
Friday, Sept. 4: A relaxed way to learn more about your favorite watermedia art. Students may use watercolor, acrylic or gouche paints and work on their own project using their own supplies. Specific aspects of painting with these mediums will be taught each session with time for individual help. Class will be held 9 a.m. to noon. Adult Coloring Event at Senior Activity Center
Tuesday, Sept. 8: An adult coloring event will be held at the SAC’s Enrichment Center, 140 N. Buchanan St., Cambridge, at 10 a.m. Bring along a friend or two and get into your coloring “mojo.” They plan to decorate the walls with your works of arts.
Wednesday, Sept. 9: Join fellow artists in a non-competitive, relaxed atmosphere to work on your own art with your own supplies from 9 a.m. to noon. No instruction. All mediums. If using oils, use odorless turpentine and bring a tablecover. Snacks are welcome. This is a great way to meet other artists. Cambridge Center for the Arts, 140 Buchanan St. N., Cambridge. Free Yoga in Central Green Park
Beginning Sept. 9: Free yoga classes will be offered in Central Green Park in Cambridge on Wednesdays, Sept. 9 through Oct. 14 from 5-5:45 p.m. The park is located in the Heritage Greens neighborhood just north of the Isanti County Government Center, 1455 Fern St. S. Thursday, Sept. 10: Isanti County Master Gardeners will host a Free Presentation on Planting Flower Bulbs at 7 p.m. at the Isanti County Government Center in Cambridge, lower level. This is a free to the public presentation, although reservations are required by calling 763-689-1810.
Long Lake Lutheran annual Youth Garage Sale

OktoberFest at Historic St. John’s of Bradford
Saturday, Sept. 12: The eighth-annual OktoberFest will be held from 4-8 p.m. at Historic St. John’s Lutheran Church of Bradford, 900 County Road 5 Northwest, Isanti. An authentic German Bavarian Dinner will be served buffet style and musical entertainment provided by Kris and The Riverbend Dutchmen.
