I have been a resident of Cambridge for 10 years now, but have a family history in Cambridge going back over 100 years. After living in different areas of the metro area I have found Cambridge to be the place I have found to be home.
Currently I am employed by the Hennepin County Sheriffs Office and have worked for Hennepin County for 12 years. I have been married to my wife Raquel for 9 years, and together we have 6 children active in the Cambridge community. Our youngest son Britton attends Cambridge Primary; Cheyenne is in Cambridge Middle School; Seth and Hunter attend Cambridge-Isanti Senior High; Kyrah, our oldest daughter, graduated this spring and has enlisted in the US Army; and our oldest son Tayler is working in town.
As a council member I want to carry on with the great work done by the previous council members and continue to maintain Cambridge’s position as a premier place for families to live, work, shop and play. We need to continue to be an inviting place for new businesses to build and for established industries to continue to flourish. We need to further the livability of our neighborhoods and enjoyability of our city parks, and mostly we need to maintain an open dialogue between the city government and the people of the city along with business owners so we can make decisions together as we face new technological and civic changes while we continue to keep our small town character and ethics.
I urge everyone to use your voice and vote Nov. 4, and that when you do, please vote for me.
