On Friday, June 27, Landmark Community Bank celebrated its 113th anniversary at all its branches.
An estimated 230 people attended the open house at the Isanti location at 711 Sixth Ave. Spectacular Events catered a BBQ luncheon. Cake and coffee were served and attendees had the opportunity to register for the drawings for $113 gift cards given away at each Landmark location.
Isanti County 4-H Robotics Team 3840, who in March competed in Duluth as part of the For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) competition, provided a demonstration of their robot. The team of Teens ‘Nto Technology (TNT) robot was designed to meet the competition standards, created and built to throw and catch a large rubber exercise ball.
Steve Ortell and Gary Caron provided classic rock stylings for an appreciative crowd, some of whom got up and danced to the irresistible beat.
Landmark’s main bank in Isanti has a lobby permanently set up with museum-like displays of banking history, including antique coin banks, tools of early banking and an antique alarm system, along with historical photos of Isanti. Feel free to check out the displays anytime!
Landmark’s directors, management and staff wish to thank their customers for their loyalty over the years.
