Dr. Ryan likes taking care of people and providing for their many different needs. Keeping teeth and gums clean and healthy can prevent periodontal disease. Dr. Ryan recommends brushing, flossing, and using a mouthwash, like Listerine, daily. He also recommends scheduling two routine visits per year.

Children can start seeing the dentist as soon as they have teeth. If children do not like brushing their teeth, Dr. Ryan’s office can provide chewable disclosing tablets. The tablets leave a temporary reddish color on teeth so children can see where they haven’t brushed thoroughly.

Dr. Ryan can also make mouth guards for athletes to protect their teeth while playing sports.

Dr. Ryan discourages people from drinking carbonated beverages which can damage teeth. He has a disturbing picture in his office waiting room that shows what drinking pop and using meth can do to teeth.
