Make plans to see July 4 fireworks

Make your plans to come and see the fireworks presented by the city of Cambridge on Friday, July 4 at the Isanti County Fairgrounds.

The fireworks display will begin at dusk (approximately 9:45 p.m.). While you are waiting for the fireworks to begin, the Isanti County 4-H Stand will be open from 5-10 p.m. selling hamburgers, hot dogs, pop, ice cream, etc.

There will be a short parade of fire trucks down Third Avenue from behind the Target store into the fairgrounds. Before the fireworks begin, Mayor Marlys Palmer will deliver a short welcome address, and Monte Dybvig will sing the national anthem.

Other area displays:

  • The city of Braham will present July 4 fireworks at dusk at the Braham Area High School.
  • The city of North Branch will present July 4 fireworks at dusk at the North Branch Area High School.
  • The city of Forest Lake will offer a carnival, games and live music July 2 through July 6. On July 4, parade begins at 10 a.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m.
