Prairie Senior Cottages appreciates work of emergency responders

Dear Editor:

Prairie Senior Cottages would like to express our sincere appreciation to the first responders in the city of Isanti who work tirelessly to protect our city and the residents of our cottage. Words can’t express the admiration we have for the faithfulness of the Isanti Fire Department, the Chief of Police and all the officers who continue to respond diligently to our residents in need. These individuals countlessly give themselves in times of great need to the citizens of our community. It is the firefighters and the police departments who are shining examples of what it means to be a part of a community and are truly a blessing. They make the city of Isanti a better place to live and make us proud to call it “home.”

Our residents at Prairie Senior Cottage are fragile, medically complex and misunderstood by many. The compassion and care the first responders and police officers show our residents is extraordinary. Words cannot express how truly grateful we are for them and their quick service. The average response time is five minutes for them to respond to a need at the cottage; not only are they gentle and patient with our residents, they also provide timely service while ensuring safety as a priority.
