Meeting to Discuss YMCA in Cambridge

Thursday, June 12: A group of area citizens are meeting to discuss the prospects of a YMCA and public pool for Cambridge. Are you interested in making this become a reality for our area? Helping Bees and their Keepers

Thursday, June 12: ‘Helping Bees and Their Keepers,’ will be presented by Becky Masterman, UMN Bee Squad Coordinator, at 7 p.m. at the Isanti County Government Center in Cambridge. The event is free, but reservations are required by calling 763-689-1810. Masterman coordinates the UMN Bee Squad, an organization that helps people help bees. This presentation will outline steps, including bee friendly gardening that people can take to help bees.  Additionally, what is involved in becoming a beekeeper and maintaining bee friendly habitat will be discussed.

Classic Car Show at Gables West

Father’s Day Fly-In Pancake Breakfast

Sunday, June 15: Join the Cambridge Municipal Airport for an open house and pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. provided by the Cambridge Lions. Cost is $6/adult; $4/4-12. Three and under, and pilots, are free. Limited free airplane rides and pedal planes for the kids.

Cambridge Surplus Food Distribution

Tuesday, June 17: The Cambridge Surplus Food Distribution will be held at the Isanti County Fairgrounds. Registration and food distribution will be from 3-5:30 p.m. There will not be any preregistration. Do not arrive before 1 p.m. and there is no parking on the fairgrounds prior to 1 p.m. Food will be distributed to one person only per address.
