Owners Kaleb Lutterman and Kevin Whitney explained the business is a full PC computer repair and support business that can fix anything from virus removal to replacing parts. Over-the-phone support will be available, along with on-site support and remote access to customers’ computer.

Lutterman, who has been operating the business from his home since March 2013, said in December 2013 he and Whitney started renovating the current location for the business.

“We want to be a service to people around this area, and we can offer full repair on PCs,” Lutterman said. “We focus on customer service and making sure the customer gets everything they need. If the customer needs something, we will try to make it happen.”

Lutterman, who used to work for the Geek Squad, explained he wants the community to have another option for computer repair and support, while keeping the services affordable. He explained Neora will charge around $100 for virus removal, compared to $200 customers find at larger retail stores.

Lutterman said future plans also include customers filling out a questionnaire to see what other types of services or classes they would benefit from. For example, he said he’s open to teaching a basic computer class at his office for the senior population who may benefit from some extra support.

“I’ve always been interested in computers and into information technology,” Lutterman said. “I want to be the ‘go to guy’ for PC repair in the area.”

Lutterman said one of his favorite projects in high school was converting an old Nintendo Entertainment System into a home PC.

Whitney said he’s always been interested in working on computers and took computer classes while attending Hennepin Technical College.

During the grand opening from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 19, customers will receive a 25 percent discount on all services. The grand opening day will also feature a special PC cleanup service for $30, which is normally a $50 service.

“We encourage everyone to come out and visit us during our grand opening May 19,” Lutterman said. “We are excited to be opening.”

Neora is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and can be reached at 763-219-1828. More information can also be found at www.neorasupport.net.
