C-I Men’s Monday Night Tennis begins May 5

COMMUNITY SPORTS:   The Men’s Tennis League commences on Monday, May 5 on the Cambridge-Isanti H.S. courts. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., this league is open to men of all abilities and ages. Braham’s Nickles in All-Star hoops

Braham senior Kayla Nickles represented the Bomber girls program in the 2014 Minnesota Girls Basketball All-Star Series which was held last weekend at Carleton College in Northfield. More girls playing in the series from the area were Bryanna Fernstrom (Chisago Lakes), Claire Lundberg (Anoka) and Grace Sawatzke (Monticello).

 

Intro to Paddleboarding & Kayaking

Intro to Standup Paddleboarding & Kayaking will be offered through Cambridge-Isanti Community Education and taught by K.C. Bohn and Dan Johnson. The class is for grades 7 through adult, and will be held from 7:30-9 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at the Cambridge-Isanti High School Pool. Cost for the class is $15. Cambridge Ambassadors Golf Scramble

The 10th Annual Ambassador Classic for Scholarships will be hosted Saturday, June 28 at the Purple Hawk CC, beginning with a  9 a.m. shotgun start. Entry is $75/golfer or $300/foursome includes 18 holes, cart, lunch, games and contests. Trophies for first-place men’s, women’s and mixed teams.
