Warren Olson

Warren Linden Olson, 71, of Red Bluff, Ca., passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2014, at the home of his daughter Jennifer Bauers, who cared for him the last four weeks.
He was born March 20, 1943 in Rush City, MN to Warren and Doris (Anderson) Olson. He was baptized and confirmed at the Covenant Church. He attended Hiawatha School District 26 through the sixth grade; then moved to Braham, where his parents built a home. Linden graduated from Braham High School where he participated in many athletics. He attended Hamline University and graduated 1966 with a degree in Economics.
The country was in up-rest, so at this time, he enlisted in the Air Force. During this time Linden met and married Madge Evans of Bristol, England. He was honorably discharged after 4 years in 1970. Their only child Jennifer Ann was born 2 years later.
His first position was with Control Data, then transferred to Sicilian Valley area where he worked for 16 years for Control Data. The past 23 years he worked there for General Dynamics working in Gov. Service Management. His health became an issue in 2012 and he was forced to semi-retire.
During Lindens working years, he was an avid golfer. He enjoyed many trips to Tahoe and Hawaii.
Preceding in death was his grandparents Arthur R. and Myrtle (Julien) Anderson. Leonard and Lillian Olson, also his father Warren and brother Lonnie Alan.
He is survived by his wife, Madge; Daughter, Jennifer and Sean Bauers; Mother, Doris; Uncle, Leo and Eleanor Anderson; Miriam Olson-Sparre of Fridley; Shirley Hakarinen of Coon Rapids; Patsy Anderson; Pam and Steve Eklund; and many more cousins, and relatives.
After cremation; a military service will be held at Igo Veterans Cemetery in Igo, California at a later date. A service will be held at North Maple Ridge Church and Cemetery.
