The Cambridge-Isanti High School theater department is presenting its lone spring play performance  at 7 p.m. Friday, March 28, for the public. It consists of two adaptations of “fractured” fairy tales–  “Jack and the Bean-Stork” and “Snow White and the 14 Little People”– under the direction of Bruce Danielson.

Both shows are performed in under an hour and have appeal to both the younger and the older crowd. Kids will be delighted by the stories and the Giant’s shoe, the magic of the Mirror in Snow White, and the fun of the characters and the special effects. The older crowd will enjoy the humor, the over-stated characterizations and the timing of the plot.

Ten of the Little People and the Prince in “Snow White” are being recruited from the audience, so the cast is hoping for young people at the Friday performance (or they will invite adults to play the parts). For an evening of fun, laughter and colorful stories, join the cast on Friday evening. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students and preschoolers. Tickets are only available at the door starting at 6 p.m. that evening.
