Two Cambridge 19-year-old males were arrested for alleged burglary, theft and motor vehicle tampering following an incident March 18 in Bradford Township.
According to the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office, the department received a call at 3:15 a.m. of two males entering cars and prowling around at the 1300 block of 280th Lane NW in Bradford.
The caller gave a description to responding officers, and once the officers arrived they set up a perimeter and K-9 Kojak was deployed to locate the suspects.
The two suspects were quickly located hiding underneath a pine tree not too far from the address of the original call, and detained without incident.
Once the suspects were located, they were found to be in possession of a back pack full of stolen items. Some of the items recovered were GPS units, sunglasses and other various items that were taken from several vehicles in the area. Many of the stolen items were returned to the owners.
The Isanti County Sheriff’s Office would like to ask the public to help reduce this type of theft by locking the doors on your vehicles, park them in the garage if possible, and remember to take valuables out of your cars.
