Cambridge-Isanti senior Parker Brown will go down as the top diver in the school’s history after he finished his career by placing 9th at the Class AA Boys Swim & Dive Finals held March 1 at the University of Minnesota Aquatics Center. Brown kept moving up in the standings while scoring 257.05 points in the prelim and semifinal rounds on Feb. 27. Parker finished with a 371.15 total on Saturday night as Rosemount’s Daniel Monaghan defended his ‘AA’ diving title. Brown set the Bluejacket six- and 11-dive records this season.
C-I junior Cody Hemmelgarn also competed at State diving, scoring 120.45 points to place 31st in the Thursday night prelims at the Aquatics Center.
