Three people sustained non-life threatening injuries following an accident Wednesday morning near Highway 95 and Lily Street, west of Cambridge.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Richard Kierzek, 77, of Sauk Rapids, was driving a 2007 Toyota 4-Runner heading westbound on Highway 95 when he lost control on the ice and crossed into the eastbound lane and collided with an eastbound vehicle. Kierzek was transported to a St. Cloud hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A passenger in Kierzek’s vehicle was his daughter, June Bohlig, 51, of St. Cloud. She was transported to Cambridge Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries
David Miller, 45, of Dalbo, was driving a 2003 Chrysler van heading eastbound. Miller was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis with non-life threatening injuries.
Assisting the State Patrol at the scene was the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office. Both vehicles were towed by Leaf’s Towing.
