‘Celebration of Freedom’ concert Feb. 23

The award winning 34th Infantry Division “Red Bull” Band and East Central Minnesota Chorale present ‘Celebration of Freedom,’ a musical tribute honoring the 70th anniversary of D-Day.

The event will be held at the Richard Hardy Performing Arts Center at Cambridge-Isanti High School at 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23.

Tickets are $10 for adults in advance or $12 at the door, $5 for students 13-17, 12 and under are free, with a $30 cap for families.

Thrill to band and choral music from and inspired by WWII as 150 voices, ECM Chorale, Unum Vox, and Cambridge-Isanti High School Choir, join the Red Bull Band on stage.

You’ll hear familiar music you love and music you’ll come to love including “Testament To Freedom” by Randall Thompson, “Hymn to the Fallen,” “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” and more.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
