Thank you for successful Santa Day in Braham

Dear Editor:  The Braham Area Community Center Task Force wants to thank everyone who helped plan, setup and volunteer their time at Braham’s Santa Day. Special thank you to the Braham VFW for hosting the Pancake Brunch, Jon and Pat Weber, Neil Eiden, Marcy Randall and Roberta Folksted as Santa and Mrs. Claus. Braham High Student Council for taking photos with Santa and all the area church choirs for providing special Christmas music during the event.

Thanks to all students who helped serve/wait tables and helped with kids activities. Thanks to all volunteers who helped in the kitchen, Santa’s Gift Shoppe, Mrs. Claus Bake Shop and supervised student wait staff. Everyone who donated money, baked goods, time, and gift shop items. We could not have done this event without you.

Our community is blessed to have such wonderful people willing to work together. We want to thank everyone who came to Santa Day and gave donations to the food shelf, bought gifts and baked items. You all helped raise funds for the community center. Special thanks to our sponsors, Braham Area Community Center Task Force, Tusen Tack, Braham Area Chamber, Braham Area High School Student Council, Elmhurst Commons, East Central Energy, Frandsen Bank and the following churches: Sts Peter and Paul Catholic, Braham Evangelical Lutheran, Braham Covenant, Stanchfield Baptist, St. Stephens’s Lutheran, Friendship Assembly of God and Hope Lutheran of Grasston.  Special thanks to Royal Neighbors of America for matching funds of $1,000.
