Community & People Aldi celebrates Cambridge opening Published December 11, 2013 at 12:35 pm Aldi held a ribbon cutting ceremony in Cambridge Dec. 5 to celebrate the opening of its new store located at 160 Balsam St. N on the east side of Cambridge. Attending the ribbon cutting ceremony were Cambridge city officials, members of the Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce, Aldi representatives and community members. Besides groceries, a wide variety of holiday items can be found inside Aldis. Aldi cashiers were busy checking out shoppers during the first hour of opening Dec. 5. An abundance of fresh produce can be found at Aldis. Aldi also has a nice meat selection.
