The Cambridge City Council is seeking four individuals to serve on the Parks, Trails and Recreation Commission. Two of the positions are regular at large three-year terms, one is for a youth representative with a one-year term, and one is for a school district representative with a three-year term.
Incumbent Commissioners may also apply for reappointment as long as they meet the term limit requirements (9 years). The city will use the list of interested applicants to fill any Commission vacancies that may arise during 2014.
The Parks, Trails and Recreation Commission is an advisory board to the City Council and is responsible for the administration of the City’s Parks, Trails, and Recreation Master Plan. The Parks, Trails, and Recreation Commission conducts a regular monthly meeting and additional meetings as needed.
