Curtis Albert Nesset, 71, of Spring Lake, died November 15, 2013 at St. Marys Hospital in Duluth.
Curt was born Aug. 28, 1942 in Blackduck, Minn. He was born and raised in Blackduck and graduated from Blackduck High School. He married his high school sweetheart Darlene.
After several moves they made their residence in Isanti, Minn. He worked for 3M for 25 years until retirement. They then moved to Spring Lake, Minn. He enjoyed being at the lake and spending time fishing and hunting. He loved being with family and friends and messing around with his grand kids. He kept himself busy tinkering with several different projects, most recently moving dirt and he always looking for a new business to start.
He is survived by wife Darlene Nesset of Spring Lake, Children: Korine (Jason) Stellmach of Anchorage, Alaska; Kevin (Jodi) Nesset of Surprise, Ariz.; Lynn (Steve) Beise of Hanover, Minn. Six grandchildren: Erika Jo (Brandon) Chaffee, Kyle Nesset, Alex Westerlund, Tyler Nesset, Spencer Beise and Conrad Beise. One great grandchild: Aiden Westerlund.
The funeral will be held at Sand Lake Alliance Church in Spring Lake, Minn. on Saturday Nov. 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at the Carroll Funeral Home in Deer River, Minn. on Friday Nov. 22, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Cormant Township.
