Braham cross country runners finished with many best times of the year when the boys placed 10th and the girls 15th at the Section 5A Finals held Oct. 24 in Pierz. Senior Rachel Eskuri closed her career in 29th place at 16:28, bettering her top season time by 23 seconds.
Also dropping times for the Bomber girls at sections were Amanda Otto (17:34), Kaitlyn Dordal (17:48), Mackenzie Warner (19:44) and Jenna Winter (20:07).
Freshman Logan Leavey and senior Connor TenNapel ran to the Braham boys’ best time of the year at 17:58, good for 34th and 35th place. Adding their top times of the season were Thomas Warner (18:15), Pen Sullivan (19:29), Nick Jones (19:31) and Christian Patterson (20:37).
The Annandale girls and Mora boys won the 5A team titles, advancing to this Saturday’s Class A State run.
