Rep. Nolan’s staff to hold meetings with seniors

U.S. Rep. Rick Nolan announced several upcoming “Connecting with Seniors” Congress Comes to You Meetings throughout Minnesota’s Eighth District.

Rep. Nolan’s district staff will host the meetings, which will focus on connecting with seniors for their ideas, comments, and suggestions, as well as informing the attendees on the latest with Medicare/Medicaid, Social Security, and other issues important to Minnesota’s 8th District seniors.

“These Congress Comes to You meetings will provide senior residents throughout the Eighth District an opportunity to meet members of my staff and discuss matters of interest and importance,” Nolan said. “Whether it’s a matter relating to Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, veterans benefits, or whatever the concern, providing exceptional constituent services is very important to my staff and to me. Congress Comes to You meetings help us maintain close and essential contact with the people we serve.”

Members of Congressman Nolan’s staff will be available at the following area locations:

• Tuesday,  Oct. 29: Cambridge Senior Center, 332 Third Ave. NW, Cambridge, 9:30-10:30 a.m.

• Tuesday, Oct. 29: Princeton Library, 100 Fourth Ave. S, Princeton, 1-2 p.m.

• Thursday, Oct. 31: Chisago County Community Center, 38790 Sixth Ave., North Branch, 10-11 a.m.
