The contest consisted of four classes, judging the horses’ front, back, and side profiles, then two performance classes. Braham has not participated in a horse judging contest in 25 years. All students who attended enjoyed the experience. Our FFA members are thoroughly excited for future contests.

Students at Braham High School started an FFA chapter this fall; the group is currently growing with new members. The 2013-2014 officers were decided at the first meeting this month, President: Beth Johnson, Vice President: Kelsey Knapp, Secretary: RaeAnne Leaf, Treasurer: Kole German, Reporter: Kayla Nickles, Sentinel: Doniven Slama, and Greenhand Officer Michael McAdams.

The Braham FFA chapter is looking forward to helping the community and teaching new people about FFA.
