All are welcome to Siloa Evangelical Lutheran Church in rural Braham on Sunday, Oct. 27 for a celebration of their Swedish heritage.
Their celebration features their Annual Swedish Dinner with homemade menu items such as Swedish meatballs and gravy, potato sausage, limpa bread, rice pudding, Sylvia’s apple salad, lingonberries, pickled herring, shortbread cookies, beverages and more.
Dinner will be served from noon to 2 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door (adults $11, children 4-12 $5, under 3-free). Also visit their “Marketplace” that day which will feature a variety of handcrafted and homemade items, made by members of Siloa’s congregation.
Join them for their 10 a.m. worship service before dinner, and then stay for an authentic Swedish meal and special live Swedish music.
