Braham Boys CC runs 5th at Blaine Invite

The Braham varsity boys cross country crew placed 5th out of 13 teams with 126 points in the “White” division at the Oct. 3 Blaine Invitational. Minneapolis South won the division with a 68 total.

Connor TenNapel paced the Bombers with his 18:34 run for 10th place. Logan Leavey was just back in 13th at 18:48, and Thomas Warner cracked the top-20 by placing 17th at 19:10. Also running for the Bomber boys were Nick Jones (40th, 20:17), Cody Anderson (46th, 20:26), Sam Foote (66th, 21:13) and John Ellingson (70th, 22:06).

Rachel Eskuri posted the Bomber varsity girls’ top run of 17:27, good for 26th place. Following her were Amanda Otto (59th, 19:06), Jenna Winter (78th, 21:06) and Kaitlyn Dordal (78th, 21:06).

Conference finals next for Bombers, Bluejackets

With the autumn season starting to wind down already, conference CC finals will be held over the next week. Braham takes on the Great River teams at Pine City Oct. 10, and Cambridge-Isanti will compete against the teams of the Mississippi 8 at The Ponds Golf Course in St. Francis on Oct. 15.
