Auditions open Oct. 8 for “A Christmas Carol”

Auditions for Charles Dickens “A Christmas Carol” with Giant Step of Rum River will soon be held. Tryouts are for all roles of this delightful holiday classic, as they are looking for actors, singers and dancers.

Auditions will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at North Elementary School in Princeton/Commons for adults and young people.

Performers from fourth grade to adult of all experience levels will all be cast in this production, which will develop stage skills; including fundamentals of stage vocabulary and technique, stage movement and character development. Families are encouraged.

Rehearsals will be held four to five times per week on weekday evenings and some Saturdays. Depending on the role, not all cast members will be required for each rehearsal until dress rehearsal week and performances.

Dinner Theatre performances will be held on two weekends; Saturdays and Sundays on December 14, 15 and 21, 22 at Northern Lights Ballroom and Banquet Center located on Highway 169 between Princeton and Milaca.
