Weekly Farmer’s Markets
Ongoing: There will be a weekly Cambridge-Isanti Farmer’s Market happening May through October on Wednesdays from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Cambridge at the City Center Market and Isanti on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Riverside Market.
Free Community Dinner
Thursday, Sept. 19: A free Community Dinner will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Use the downstairs entrance. Everyone is welcome to join for a time of fellowship and a meal. Call the church office at 763-444-9201 with questions.

Fundraiser for Mann Field Ball Field Lighting
Sept. 20-21: A fundraiser sale for the Mann Field Ball Field Lighting Project will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 20, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 21. Saturday, Sept. 21: Ruby’s Pantry Food Distribution will be held at Elim Baptist Church in Isanti, 114 Dahlin Ave., from 8-9:30 a.m. $15 donation.
Grandy Ball Field Dedication Ceremony
Saturday, Sept. 21: A Grandy Community Center and Grandy Lions Ball Field Dedication Ceremony will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Grandy Ball Field. A dedication ceremony will be held at noon. Hot dogs, chips and lemonade will be available while supplies last. There will also be a kids free raffle for autographed baseballs.

WinterGreen’s to host Benefit for Batten Disease
Saturday, Sept. 21: WinterGreen’s Golf & Grill in Isanti will hold a 70s 5K Walk/Run or Disco to benefit Batten Disease Support & Research Association. The Race/Walk will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a Band Party/Beer Bust from 6 p.m. to close. Entry fee (includes free drink & bracelet) is $30/person. Kids 12 & under are free. Sons of Norway Meeting at SAC’s
Tuesday, Sept. 24: Join the members of Rumelva Lodge, Sons of Norway, at SAC’s on Third, 332 Third Ave. NW, Cambridge. There will be entertainment by Roger Hellesvig, also known as Ole Oleson, at 7 p.m. Hellesvig will present the program, “An Immigrant’s Tale.” Using an immigrant trunk as a focal point, he will tell what it was like to immigrate to Minnesota in the mid-1800s. The group encourages parents to bring school age children to this program since Hellesvig taught elementary school for 15 years. Guests are always welcome.
