Fall Art Festival will offer art, music and food

City Center Market will hold their 6th Annual Fall Art Festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14. Poster

The parking lot will be filled with artists’ beautiful wares – jewelry, drawings, paintings, pottery, photography, rag rugs, and more.

Artists include Marilyn Cuellar with original drawings and cards; Lakeland Alpacas with live alpacas and alpaca fleece products; Judy Durie-one-of-a-kind handbags and accessories; Sprite Creations with handcrafted jewelry, Charles and Rene Grisham with fused glass art; Alissa Houghtaling with original photography; and Vivian Oliver with handmade jewelry and wind chimes.

Music will be provided by Blue Haven, a jazz trio from Minneapolis (10:30-11:45 a.m.), local guitarist and singer Kenny Krona with blues, folk and rock’n’roll (12:15-1:30 p.m.), and Ellie Perleberg, from Isanti with her guitar and songs (1:45-3 p.m.). In addition, Tina Kabage from “Paint On Me Studio” will be on hand to paint henna tattoos, and Sara’s Tipsy Pies will offer wine- and alcohol-infused pies.

City Center Market’s Deli is offering a lunch special of those delicious Beeler’s grilled brats, chips and a cold drink for $6. City Center Café will offer medium smoothies and frappes for $3 for the day. The Cambridge-Isanti Farmer’s Market, which is always open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., will remain open until 3 p.m. for the Art Festival.
