C-I’s Nate Wallman and Jared Oldenberg finished in 2nd and 4th in the JV boys race. Brynna Guimont had a strong middle school girls race, finishing in 3rd.

Next up: The annual Bluejacket Invite this Thursday, Sept. 5. Races begin at the Isanti Middle School at 4 p.m. (Race order: Middle schoolers, girls JV, girls V, boys V, boys JV). Section 7AA partners Chisago Lakes, Andover, Princeton & Forest Lake girls are among the teams entered. “Should be a very competitive meet. Between the boys and girls races, there are four teams who qualified for the State meet last year competing,” said C-I Coach Josh Lowman.
