Pregnancy Resource Center grateful for community support

Dear Editor:

The Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) of Cambridge would like to thank the community for making our first Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction such a success. More than 150 community members joined us on Sunday, Aug. 18 and more than $1,700 were raised to benefit the PRC.

We want to especially thank the Cambridge Lions for making the event possible by partnering with us to provide and cook the breakfast.

A big thanks as well to Christ the King Catholic Church for the use of the Parish Hall, and area businesses who donated to our silent auction items. A list of donated items is posted on our website at www.cambridgeprc.com.

And a special thank you to everyone that came out with their families to eat and bid on our silent auction items. The event was such a success that we are already in the works of planning our second event in 2014.

The PRC of Cambridge is a Christian non-profit organization that offers many life-affirming free services to the East Central region, including pregnancy testing, STD testing and treatment, ultrasound for pregnancy confirmation, material assistance, parenting education, STD and abstinence education, adoption education and support, as well as emotional and spiritual support. Find more information at www.cambridgeprc.com

Thanks again for making this event a success and allowing us to continue to serve our community.
