Salem Lutheran Preschool in Dalbo is accepting registrations for fall enrollment. They are a Christian based, non-denominational preschool for ages 33 months to 5 years. Arc United presents ‘Music for Social Change’ Aug. 17 at Common Ground
The Arc United is providing a day of singing, song writing and fun on Aug. 17 at Common Ground United Methodist Church at 404 N. Cypress Street, Cambridge. Come join musicians Bret, Larry and Halle. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with refreshments and activities going until 3:30 p.m.

First Baptist to host Aug. 18 celebration
In 1887 people from the Tamarack Church (presently North Isanti Baptist) built a church in the village of Cambridge. The next year, 1888, they gave up 36 of their members to organize the work of the new church. And on Nov. 14, 1888, they gathered to organize First Swedish Baptist Church of Cambridge.
On Sunday, Aug. 18, there will be a time to celebrate the arrival of FBC on Main Street. It will take place outdoors on church grounds at 304 Main St. S from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Joel Reiter will be speaking at the service at 11 a.m. followed by lunch and games from 1-3 p.m. It will be a family celebration. This will be a time to worship, eat together, play games and review church history. The Mystery Mountain Boys will provide music. They are blessed to be part of that great calling and to acknowledge all the years that God has been faithful to them. Invite your children, bring lawn chairs or a blanket, and all are welcome to join them.
First Lutheran Church of Harris to hold ‘Rockin’ Outdoor Service’
All are invited to First Lutheran Church of Harris’ ‘Rockin’ Outdoor Service,’ Sunday, Aug. 18. Service will be held outdoors and begins at 10:30 a.m. The silent auction begins at 9:30 a.m. with bidding ending at noon. A free picnic lunch will be served at noon. Music will be provided by First Lutheran Praize Band. Seating is provided, or bring your own lawn chair or blanket and join them on the lawn. The church is located at the corner of 438 and Gates in downtown Harris.

The 17th Annual Community Fellowship Gathering “Pork and Turkey Roast” will be held at Braham Ev. Lutheran Church Friday, Aug. 23, from 5-7 p.m. Free will offering accepted. The church is located at Isanti County Road 4 and West Central Drive.
St. Stephen’s Church celebrates 100 years
St. Stephen’s Lutheran church in Braham (400 SE 8th Street) turns 100 years old this August. To commemorate this milestone, a celebration will be held Sunday, Aug. 25. Regular morning worship will be held at 10 a.m.
A fellowship meal will follow at 11:30 a.m. which is open to the public and all are welcome. At 1 p.m., a special anniversary service will be held: “Past, Present, Future, Eternal” featuring local musicians, former pastors of St. Stephen’s, and the Minnesota North District President Rev. Don Fondow. Join for a day of worship, praise, celebration, fellowship, and thanksgiving on their 100th anniversary celebration Aug. 25.
Pancake Breakfast in East Bethel
A Pancake Breakfast will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sept. 8 at the East Bethel Senior & Community Center. Pancakes, French Toast, Sausage, Juice and Coffee will be served. Adults are $5, children under 10 are $2. The Center is located 1 mile east of Highway 65 on 221st Avenue.
