The 2013 Isanti County Safety Camp committee extends appreciation to the following businesses that made financial contributions:
Advantage Collection Professionals, Cambridge Bar & Grill, Cambridge Chiropractic Clinic, Cambridge Eye Associates, PA, Cambridge Lions Club, Cambridge State Bank, Casey’s General Stores, Inc., CenterPoint Energy, Chilson Jewelers, Diversified Bronze & Manufacturing, Inc., East Central Energy, East Central Sanitation & Recycling, Friends of the Cambridge Public Library, Isanti County Law Enforcement, Isanti Subway, Isanti Tire & Auto Care, Lake State Credit Union, Lindberg & McKinnis, Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Indians, MinnCo Credit Union, Peoples Bank of Commerce, Strike Funeral Homes, Target Stores and Training Connections.
“We are thrilled to have 24 sponsors for this year’s Safety Camp,” said Dave Maurer, Cambridge-Isanti Community Education Director and Safety Camp Co-Chair. “We have calculated that a $100 donation will cover 4 scholarships, 16 bike helmets or approximately 16 lunches. Because of the donations we received, we were able to work with the counselors at the Primary and Intermediate schools and extend invitations to families that needed financial assistance with the registration fee. Additionally, every child receives snacks, beverages and lunch each day of camp. This ensures that every camper is physically ready to learn and have fun. It would be impossible for the Safety Camp budget to support these costs without the generous donations of our business sponsors.”
