Northern Lights Writers is pleased to announce their July program will be “It’s Not Catch and Release.”
Author Lauri Robinson will lead a discussion on story structure, including how to keep the reader’s attention well after they’ve been hooked by the first line.
Robinson writes western historical romance novels for The Wild Rose Press and Harlequin Mills and Boon. Her latest book, “The Cowboy Who Caught Her Eye,” was released July 1.
The July 20 meeting will be held at the Wyoming Area Giese Memorial Library in Wyoming, beginning at 10 a.m. Join NLW members for breakfast and lively writing-related conversation beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Village Inn in Wyoming prior to the meeting.
NLW (formed in 2002) is composed of dedicated newcomers working to get published as well as multi-published members in various genres who provide mentoring and industry updates. NLW offers craft workshops, guest speakers and critiques, but more importantly, supports and encourages its members on the road to publication. NLW has also published an anthology, romance and mystery under the Northern Lights.
NLW meetings are usually held the third Saturday of each month at the Wyoming Area Giese Memorial Library from 10 a.m. to noon.
