The count down has begun. Please join us July 12-13 at 6:30 p.m. for the 37th Annual Isanti Firefighters Professional Rodeo. Kids pre-rodeo Mutton Bustin’ starts at 6 p.m.
This year’s schedule of events is set to make this year’s rodeo the best ever. We’ve increased our seating area again this year to better accommodate all of our loyal supporters. A few club seats and box suites remain for this year’s rodeo. These seats/suites offer rodeo fans elevated, covered seating, semi private group accommodations and hospitality packages designed to give you the best buy for your buck. The Pickett Pro Rodeo Company will be bringing back their herd of nationally recognized rodeo stock, including many of the top bucking bulls and horses in the world.
Bring your dancing boots Friday night as the Sterns County 17 band will be turning it up immediately following the rodeo performance.
Saturdays dance music will feature the Iron Horse Group. Dance admission is free with paid rodeo admission. Our new updated web site — www.isantifiredistrict.org — has a rodeo section. Visit it for information updates and to order tickets online.
Advance tickets are still available at several local businesses. Adult admission is $12 in advance, $14 at the gate. Children (4-12) admission is $6 in advance, $8 at the gate. Children 3 and under are free.
And remember, all are welcome, but please plan accordingly. If you have special seating location wishes or needs, our general admission seating is first come first serve. Rodeo grounds open at 4 p.m. each day.
Calling all kids. If you are five or older and weigh 55 pounds or less, we need you for Mutton Bustin.’ It’s your chance to climb aboard and hang on. Have mom, dad or legal guardian go to our website, visit the rodeo section and click on the sheep to get the details and sign you up. Or call 763-464-2508.
