Star of the North games, Olympic Day celebration at Rum River BMX

The 2013 Star of the North games and an Olympic Day celebration will be held at Rum River BMX on Friday night, June 28. Registration begins at 6 p.m. and the racing program will get at approximately 7:20 p.m.

“This event is special for several reasons. First, we will be paying tribute to the time honored Olympic program and the strong values that they hold dear to the games. Secondlys we will be also holding the Minnesota Star of the North BMX racing championships – crowning the games top riders in the state based on age and skill level,” explained Rum River BMX track operator Kevin Reidemann.

This event is free to all spectators, like the regular races and practices at the track. It is also free to the racers taking part thanks to sponsors.
