The bride appeared in a beautiful white A-line silhouette lace dress covered in pearls and diamonds that swept into a cathedral train with a radiant veil. She carried a bouquet of stock, hydrangeas, and purple roses. The groom was in a Vera-Wang charcoal tux.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Barbara Essig of Princeton. She is a graduate of University Minnesota Duluth with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and has a double minor in Management and Communications. She is employed as a Wholesale Operations Specialist at Select Comfort in Plymouth, Minn.
The groom is the son of Stanley and Pamela O’Connor of Cambridge. He received an Associates of Applied Science in Law Enforcement from Century College and will receive his Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement from Metropolitan State University in December 2013. He is employed at the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office and at Allina Hospital in Fridley.
The Maid Of Honor was Joy Reece, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Bobbi Schramel, sister of the bride; Joselynn Robinson, sister of the bride; Ashley Essig, sister-in-law of the bride; Tara Essig, sister-in-law of the bride; Myranda Bregel, friend of the bride; Amanda Domogalla, friend of the couple.
The Best Man was Jeffery O’Connor, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Nicholas Essig, brother of the bride; Nathan Essig, brother of the bride; Robert Essig, brother of the bride; Scott O’Connor, cousin of the groom; Tommy Kordiac, friend of the groom; Billy Durant, friend of the groom.
The Junior Bridesmaids were Mackenzie Robinson, Tyler Schramel, Hunter Schramel, Brooke Schramel, Halie Essig and Camille Essig; all are nieces of the bride. The Ushers were Brian Robinson and Barry Schramel, both brother-in-laws of the bride. The Special Attendants were Emily Carroll and Lauren Carroll, friends of the bride. The Personal Attendant was Rachel Midas, friend of the bride.
The reception was at the Majestic Oaks Golf Club in Ham Lake. The couple will plan to take a honeymoon in November 2013 to the Bahamas. They recently purchased a new home in East Bethel.
